He sits in the same chair every evening, puts the needle down, and lets the music do what music does. But in this painting, the sound doesn’t just fill the room — it fills the ocean. From the gramophone horn, a whole underwater world pours out: jellyfish glowing orange, a red octopus spinning upward, yellow fish darting through deep blue, all rising toward a great pale fish drifting silently above. This surrealist illustration canvas print captures the feeling that the best music takes you somewhere you’ve never been — and makes it feel like home.
